Customers can rest assured that all shrimp distributed under the “M & M” and “Captain Joey” brand names are processed and packaged at OUR own facility in order to meet our rigorous quality specifications. Our 20,000 square foot processing facility is located directly on the beautiful Back Bay in Biloxi, MS, which helps ensure the shrimp you buy from us are purchased and processed fresh. Our consistent supply channels derive from our own unloading facility in Biloxi and from loyal docks in South Louisiana where fresh shrimp is trucked in daily.

Our processing plant is a Certified Wild American Shrimp producer and is inspected by the USDC. State-of-the-art Laitram Machinery allows us the capacity to process over 100,000 pounds of shrimp daily. Our processing equipment is thoroughly cleaned, never over loaded, and constantly adjusted. Our shrimp are manually inspected a minimum of three times before it enters the bag to ensure that all you have to do is cook our shrimp, not clean it. Our manual cleaning process is so thorough that our staff manually picked out and packaged over 100,000 pound of shrimp pieces last year, which you will regularly see on our price list. We clean our shrimp so you don’t have to. A heat-sealed form-filled Triangle packaging system ensures that the product you purchase is attractively and accurately packaged.

We maintain a full-time staff of quality control personnel who are not only trained by us but are also HACCP and WASI certified inspectors. Biloxi Freezing maintains a consistent supply of quality shrimp throughout the year by maximizing production during seasonal months and utilizing our financial strength to hold inventory for purchase by customers out of season.
